Although it makes sense to make the background the SU logo, I think it's a little too repetitive. I might look better if you have a SU wallpaper because the header is extrememly hard to read as well, with the words being the same color as the outline of the "S". The pictures also bother me because they are not all centered and have too much space. Something you could do is left or right justify the picture and put the text right next to it, that way I can look at the pictures while reading the post. The last thing I would suggest is to have a sidebar where readers can click on items from older postings.
